How I got started: My name is Vanessa and I’d like to tell you about my journey as a medium... I first became aware of the spirit world back in 2013 when I saw (clairvoyance) a shadow spirit (ghost) walking down the side of my porch. I could tell that he was an older man and I had a knowing (claircognizance) that he was the man who many years ago, had lived on the property that I now live on. I was shocked about how chill I was, there was not one ounce of fear. From that point on, strange things started happening, not in a frightening way but just someone or something trying to get my attention. I was more than curious and started researching the after life and mediumship. I fell in love with how mediumship changed lives and allowed those grieving to move towards healing. I knew this was something that I was meant to do. I continued to have encounters with spirits and that’s when I decided to get some formal training. Once I learned how to purposely connect and blend with spirit I begin to acknowledge that we are so much more than our skin, bones and this human body. We are not a human who has a soul, we are a soul that is having a human experience.
